Raised in poverty, Taylor earns a spot at MIT, but her father and brother destroy her acceptance letter and sell her to a wealthy older man. With her mother and sister’s help, she escapes but loses contact with them. Seven years later, now the world’s richest person, Taylor returns home to find her mother abused and sister sold.
